YCCC Youth Scholarship

The YCCC is proud to support young amateur radio operators through its youth scholarship program. The program is managed by the ARRL Foundation.



Yankee Clipper Contest Club, Inc. Youth Scholarship Award

Amount:$1,500 – $2,000

Number of Awards:

1 per year

License Requirement:

Active General Class License or higher

Regional Preference:

Residence of college/university attendance within 175 miles of YCCC center which is in Erving, MA. Qualifying area includes all of MA, RI, CT and Long Island, NY, most of VT and NH, and portions of ME, eastern NY and extreme northeastern sections of PA and NJ.

Curricular Preference:

2-year or 4-year program

Applicants must submit their application in the September time frame and the recipients are typically notified the following May.
